Supporting Small Businesses
When you purchase from a small brand such as the ones on this blog, your money is not going to a large corporation. Instead your money is helping put food on a families table, paying for kids music lessons, and helping people just like you follow their dreams of owning these businesses.
Options
Anyone else here have difficulties finding vegan and cruelty free products? Is it sometimes difficult to tell when and if brand is actually cruelty free? Most indie brands are cruelty free and offer vegan options, and I have found they are much more forthcoming and helpful when it comes to these topics!
Price
I have found that indie brands often have cheaper price points than many non-indie brands. Often as well, I have found that their products are better in quality. Better quality at a cheaper price? How can you not love that!
Community
Many of these brands have small communities of supporters who closely follow the brands. Some have Facebook pages for these communities for their followers to communicate, show off their looks, help each other with tips and tricks and become friends! I have never witnessed such support and acceptance before finding the indie community. Often times as well, the brand owners/representatives are very involved in these communities and easy to communicate with!
p.s. Some also have buy/sell/trade pages where you can look for items you may have missed, items from exclusive releases, or from subscription boxes!
